Great pick-up service !! The food was very tasty! And it tasted great too! thanks
I haven't eaten such good dumplings and knuckle of pork in 40 years.
Very tasty food and a very cozy atmosphere
Very good food, nice landlady. We'd love to come back again.
Despite prior reservations, we received a very unfriendly welcome. When it was pouring rain we parked behind the house in the on-site parking lot. My husband ran into the restaurant and asked if there was an entrance from the parking lot. The answer was no and we had to run around the house with dogs in our arms. We sat at the reserved table and spread a thick blanket on the corner bench and put our little dog on it. Thereupon we were insulted loudly and we left the restaurant again through the exit which by the way led directly to the in-house parking lot. Hungry and disappointed, we looked for another restaurant. That had no problem at all that our little dog slept nicely on his blanket on the bench.
Super delicious eaten. And .... very nice service. We were in transit and came here on recommendation. When we are back in Bad Brambach the restaurant is a must.
We happened to be in transit and ate there. Were served super friendly and ate delicious and cheap.
Delicious Vogtland cuisine. Upon request, dishes can also be adapted without discussions. Gladly again.
Rustic and we could sit outside
Can just be recommended
Friendly atmosphere and good food.
Super super delicious. Employees extremely nice.
Today we drove past Landgasthof “Stadt Leipzig” by chance. A rather inconspicuous building from the outside. And restaurant names like "Stadt Leipzig" in the Bad Brambach I visited always seem to me to be out of time. Nobody would call his restaurant in Munich "Stadt Nürnberg" these days. ;-) After all, at lunchtime on Sunday there were vehicles with local license plates, which is usually a good sign. After a round of the town we returned to the "City of Leipzig" (after all, our place of study) and the first look at the map on the outside showed: Here we find something! ... The offer is characterized by local, down-to-earth cuisine and it is really not easy to decide on a dish. Now I don't want to reveal all of it here, especially since that can change. However, I would like to draw your attention to minced meat with egg yolk on black bread (with garlic if desired), which has almost disappeared from the map today, especially in cities. With two vegetarians at home (who weren't with you today), you always have a look at the veggie menu. The nicely described vegetable platter with hollandaise sauce sounded pretty tempting ... We finally decided on the classics: Sauerbraten and beef roulade, each with red cabbage and Vogtland dumplings. What follows now is the overture for the final evaluation: I never order the dishes in restaurants where I firmly believe that my own culinary skills of these dishes can NOT be exceeded by the restaurant. This also includes my Sauerbraten (Saxon, not Rhenish) and my roulades. But I really wanted to try Vogtland dumplings and that seemed the right place because it was authentic. This is ordered and served in a short time. The experienced tester of Saxon culinary art, eager to learn from years of disappointment, then reaches for cutlery. The knife glides buttery smoothly through the first slice of the Sauerbratens, which is bathed in the deep dark brown sauce. The meat is pulled through the creamy sauce and then lands on my tongue full of anticipation. The wonderful aroma of juicy beef unfolds between the tongue and the palate with the perfectly sour and deep sauce note that make up a really good Sauerbraten. The first breathy taste orgasms from "Oaar" and "Hmm" leave the human enjoyment area in the opposite direction. A poem very similar. Now it comes to the roulade - the expectations are now high. Here, too, the cutting function of the knife is not required for the elegantly placed copy on the plate, a spoon would also have done so. ;-) Butter soft and the Sauerbraten in nothing below - first class. Or in short: sensational! Particularly noteworthy is the red cabbage, which rebelled against its function as a by-layer. Feministically, it didn't need a quota that the redhead on the plate not only tickled the palate equally, but particularly actively. A gorgeous bride in a tasty, culinary partnership at eye level. The Vogtland dumplings were good, but not very different from what I already knew. They were like Tinder: the means to an end. Without the Vogtland dumplings on offer, the culinary dream wedding of beef and red would not have been possible for us. It should be mentioned that the landlady also read the extra request for a little more Sauerbrat sauce. The two dishes plus one non-alcoholic drink each cost 33 euros plus tip. It was worth every euro to us. On request: Muddi cooks in the kitchen. And as you know, the Muddi cooks best. Here is the best confirmation and our warm regards to the kitchen: Guddi, Muddi! ... Rating: In the TOP 3 of the Sauerbraten and beef roulades of my life.
Very tasty Vogtland cuisine. Food is prepared and served with love. It is best to reserve, because the places are quickly full. The baked dumplings are an insider tip.
Good food..Good ambience..Frundliches staff..Preis performance very good..Waren the second time there and will be back ..
Home cooking, nice staff, reasonable prices. The food tastes very good!
After about three years, we returned to the city of Leipzig and are still very satisfied. The landlady is very friendly and has also pointed to special offers. The freshly prepared food came relatively quickly and were prepared attractively. For evenings it is recommended u.U. to reserve because the guest room is not very big. The sanitary facilities were clean, but could be modernized. Come gladly on occasion again!
Very nice service always good kitchen. Is the money really worth it if you want to eat well and well. Popular with guests and locals. It's good that you exist
Super nice condition and the food tip! Only to be recommended and keep it up!
Very good food. Good German cuisine, good desserts and also a vegetarian vegetable platter.
